For digital drawing like that its best to have a wacom pen/tablet. they are pretty expensive, but it allows you to use a pen to draw instead of mouse.
To achieve the lines you want by adjusting the pressure sensitivity (only found on the pen not a mouse) this lets you paint darker and wider when you press harder and when you lift off it can become lighter and thinner.
The lines are Black, but since it has a bit of transparency when you press light it will show through whats behind it.

if not you hit F5 for your brushes, then check on Other Dynamics. If you click the word of Other Dynamics and set Flow Gitter to Pen Pressure Control 0% Leave Opacity Gitter Off.
that should do it. you can play around in F5 too for other pen thingys
